Venicia's main research interests include household archaeology, paleoethnobotany, anthracology, foodways, historical ecology, agroecology, and ancient Latin America.

Bio:

Venicia is a trained paleoethnobotanist working on archaeological projects in Central America. Venicia earned her MA in Anthropology from the University of Cincinnati and a BA in Anthropology and Latin American Studies from Miami University. Venicia has conducted research on archaeological sites in El Salvador, Belize, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru, and Ecuador.
